Having had the pleasure of staying at Soo Hotel on numerous occasions, I can confidently attest to the exceptional quality of service and hospitality offered by your establishment. Soo Hotel stands out as an excellent choice for families, thanks to its spacious rooms and oversized beds. During my stays, I have been consistently impressed by the generous room sizes and the comfort provided by the large beds, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience for guests of all ages. In addition to its family-friendly accommodations, Soo Hotel boasts a prime location just 100 meters from a stunning sea view. This ideal setting not only offers breathtaking vistas but also provides easy access to waterfront activities, making it a sought-after destination for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. Furthermore, the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff at Soo Hotel are second to none. From the moment of arrival to the time of departure, the team goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests. Neat and clean finishings. Room was serviced and toiletries replaced daily. Slippers and towelling gown provided or request if not already in room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location. 7-Eleven convenience store opposite, short walk to beach, river and main street with a line of restaurants maps of Gangneung and tourist brochures provided at reception which were very helpful for planning activities. Great view from the room. Double windows that open with a filter for insects. Kettle and mugs in room with bottled water in mini fridge provided. A common microwave for the floor. Good pressure, comfortable shower, hot water and spacious bathroom. Besides the vanity table with a mirror and chair, there was also a small table and 2 couch chairs.

The location was excellent, right in front of the beach. Within walking distance to key places. Get the ocean balcony room, it’s worth it, Rooms are very spacious and staff are friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a place I would return to. Safe location and good for solo travellers. Seeing the sun rise from my balcony was a highlight of this stay. There is coffee and free ice water downstairs in addition to few bottles In The room fridge. Thanks for such a great stay.

Extremely convenient for the beach, big clean connecting rooms (double & 2 big singles). Firm comfortable beds, table & 4 chairs inroom, plus clothes rack handy for drying beachwear. Free loan of big inflatable rings for in the sea. Close to shops & restaurants including great Japanese restaurant. Convenient for lake, and for Gangneung k pop/k drama taxi tour, & historical tour. Helpful staff. Extremely good value. Recommended.

The location was fantastic, literally just across from the beach with convenience stores and eateries around. Although we didn't book a room with an ocean view, the lake view was pretty too! The room was big and comfortable, but I wished they had better/newer hair dryers. Hotel staff were also very sweet as they gave guests a box of chocolates for the New Year.
